MIDENO Commemorates 2024 Year of Impact and Growth

The North West Development Authority, MIDENO, recently unveiled its accomplishments for the past year during a comprehensive press conference. 
   The event gathered a diverse audience, including representatives from traditional and digital media, MIDENO staff, and Director General, Mr. Matoya Cletus.
   At the core of the conference were MIDENO's successful projects in the North West Region, notably the two-year PULCCA initiative, supporting local farmers. 
   These projects have been instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for the region's inhabitants and facilitating better access to essential resources.

General Manager. Matoya Cletus Anye, underscored MIDENO's collaborative spirit in fostering regional development. He highlighted the authority's successful integration into a World Bank-sponsored program spanning six regions in Cameroon, securing a substantial 9 billion for enhancing living conditions in the North West Region.
   The press conference featured informative presentations from key figures such as the Director of Technical Services and DAF, culminating in an engaging Q&A session.
   Through these interactions, MIDENO reinforced its commitment to transparency and accountability, ensuring that the local community remains well-informed about ongoing projects and initiatives.

Looking ahead to the future, MIDENO is strategically planning to tackle upcoming challenges and ensure the seamless execution of projects in the upcoming year. With a steadfast dedication to enhancing the well-being of the North West Region's populace, MIDENO stands poised to continue making a lasting impact in the region.
Noteworthy projects undertaken by MIDENO include the PULCCA Project, aimed at supporting farmers in the North West Region, and the Rural Development Project, designed to assist 33,600 farming families in the Region, including an emergency project to combat the food crisis in the region. According to the authorities, this project aims to address the food crisis in Cameroon in general and the region in particular.
