She congratulated the newly appointed leaders, including Fai Yengo Francis as the Head of the Permanent Divisional Delegation for the Bui Division and Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam as the Head of the Momo Division.
Senator Mundi urged the new leaders to mobilize the party's grassroots support and deliver successes at the polls. "Your mandates commence amid formidable sociopolitical challenges, yet 2025 is also a year of great opportunity," she said. "The year in which your courage, wisdom, and resolve will shine."
The Acting Head of the CPDM Central Committee Permanent Regional Delegation for the North West also expressed gratitude to President Paul Biya for recognizing the steadfast devotion of the North West region and placing its sons and daughters in positions where they can best serve.
Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam, who doubles as the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit, expressed her gratitude to President Paul Biya for confirming her appointment. She vowed to work harder to push the party in Momo from strength to strength, building on her achievements as the acting head.
"I think I have given my best. I do understand the stakes, and I think I have been trying to see what we can do for the development to continue in our area, for peace to return to our area, and to bring more militants into the CPDM," she said.
The appointments come as the party prepares for the 2025 presidential election and other upcoming polls. With these new leaders, the CPDM aims to consolidate its grassroots support and deliver resounding victories in the region.
Mundi declared that the new leaders are "square pegs in square holes," emphasizing that they have the necessary experience and expertise to lead the party to success. She also thanked the party's militants for their unwavering loyalty and commitment.
The installation ceremony marked a significant milestone in the party's efforts to strengthen its presence in the North West Region. As the party looks to the future, its leaders are confident that their new team will navigate challenges and lead the party to triumph.
