The Social Democratic Front (SDF) has reaffirmed its commitment to global justice and progressive values after participating in the Bharat Summit on Delivering Global Justice. Held in Hyderabad, India, from April 25 to 26, 2025, the summit brought together over 450 delegates from more than 100 countries to discuss pressing issues such as equality, economic justice, and climate action.

SDF National Chairman, Hon. Joshua Osih, led the party's delegation and played a key role in the summit's deliberations. He presented the opening statement, participated in strategic panels, and chaired a session of African parties as the Coordinator for Africa within the Progressive Alliance.

The summit concluded with the adoption of the Hyderabad Resolution: Delivering Global Justice, a powerful charter that outlines the collective commitment to freedom, equality, justice, and solidarity. The resolution condemns terrorism in all forms, including state-sponsored violence, and calls for a fair and equitable global order. It also rejects neo-colonial practices and unilateral coercive measures, advocating for the democratization of multilateral institutions.

The SDF has pledged to promote a just, inclusive, and progressive global order, aligning itself with the spirit and commitments of the Hyderabad Resolution. Chairman Osih's participation in the summit demonstrates the party's commitment to global justice and its willingness to engage with international partners to advance progressive values.

The Bharat Summit and the Hyderabad Resolution have significant implications for global politics. As the world grapples with rising authoritarianism and inequality, the summit's emphasis on progressive values and collective action is a timely reminder of the importance of cooperation and solidarity. The SDF's participation in the summit is a testament to its commitment to global justice and its role as a progressive force in Cameroonian politics.
