Dr. Chongsi Ayeah Joseph, Executive Director CHRAPA.

Dr. Chongsi Ayeah Joseph, Executive Director of the Centre for Human Rights and Peace Advocacy (CHRAPA), has sounded the alarm on the dire human rights situation in Cameroon's North West and South West regions. According to the CHRAPA's Executive Director, the ongoing conflict has unleashed a torrent of atrocities that may constitute elements of genocide.

Emphasizing that the Ngarbuh Massacre, where Cameroonian soldiers and armed Fulani militia killed 21 civilians, including 13 children and a pregnant woman, is a stark reminder of the brutality that has become all too common in the region. Despite the government's admission of responsibility, Dr. Chongsi noted that justice for the victims remains elusive.
