In a resounding show of support, Dr. Bonuh Clement Che, charge' de Mission of the Youth wing of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (YCPDM) in Ngoketunjia has pledged the unwavering backing of the youths in the division for President Paul Biya's re-election bid in 2025.
Speaking to Laarry Times shortly after the YCPDM North West Mega Rally on Saturday, May 9, 2025, Dr. Bonuh expressed the youths' enthusiasm for President Biya's leadership, citing his numerous development projects in Ngoketunjia as a testament to their magnanimity. The youths, he said, are firmly behind the president and are begging him to take on the mandate for another term.
"We are really overwhelmed to gather and pledge our support to the national president of the CPDM," Dr. Bonuh Clement Che said. "We are begging him to take this mandate because this mandate is the mandate of the youths, and he is the champion of the youths."
Cross Section of Youths during the North West YCPDM Mega Rally.The prominent youth leader, highlighted the president's achievements in Ngoketunjia, including the tarring of the Ndop-Kumbo stretch of the Ring Road and the Ndop-Bambalang-Touristic Site stretch, as well as the establishment of the Upper Nun Valley Development Authority (UNVDA). He also praised the president's efforts in appointing youths from the division to key positions.
The youths, Dr. Bonuh Clement Che said, are grateful for the president's leadership and are asking for more. "When we pledge our support to him and say thank you, it is because we are asking for more that he continue to look on the Northwest where the CPDM was giving birth," he emphasized.
Dr. Bonuh's pledge is a significant boost to President Biya's re-election bid, coming from a key constituency in the North West Region. The youths of Ngoketunjia, he said, are committed to delivering a 100% vote in favor of the president.
