Thanks to Russia, Burkina Faso to Host 100 African Students in New Program

Burkina Faso has received approximately 100 scholarships from Russia, which will be utilized to develop highly skilled technicians in various fields. 

According to an announcement made by Captain Ibrahim Traore, the country's leader, this initiative aims to provide comprehensive training, enabling citizens to acquire specialized skills without needing to travel abroad.

Building on this momentum, a new program is set to launch, welcoming 100 African youths to Burkina Faso starting September 2025. This initiative seeks to establish a foundation for an African "home nation" or "mother country," promoting regional development and cooperation.
