Eve of October 12 Polls: Prof. Ghogomu Paul Ends Ngoketunjia Campaign with Resounding Call for Unity and Continuity
The Ngoketunjia Divisional Campaign Team for the CPDM candidate, President Paul Biya, wrapped up its campaign tour in grand style Saturday, October 11, with a series of energetic rallies that reaffirmed the division’s commitment to vote massively for continuity and progress.
Leading the final charge was H.E. Prof. Ghogomu Paul, President of the Ngoketunjia Divisional Campaign Team, flanked by his vice presidents — Prof. Uphie Chinje, Prof. Gabsa Wilfred, Dr. Bonuh Clément Che (Chargé de Mission), and Mrs. Tanteh Emerine Jinui epse Chi. The high-powered delegation traversed Babessi, Ndop, and Balikumbat, mobilizing thousands of militants in a show of solidarity and renewed faith in the leadership of President Paul Biya.
Babessi: Unwavering Commitment to the CPDM Vision
The team’s final campaign day began in Babessi, where they were greeted by an exuberant crowd led by Mr. Nganjo Mama, representing DG Moh Sylvester.
In his address, Mr. Nganjo reaffirmed the people’s resolve to deliver a 100% victory for President Biya.
“Babessi remains grateful for the transformation and stability brought by the Head of State. Our roads, schools, and livelihood have seen steady improvement, and we shall show our gratitude at the polls,” he declared to thunderous applause.
Prof. Ghogomu Paul praised the discipline and determination of Babessi’s population, reminding them that the President’s 11-point manifesto offers a clear blueprint for the country’s development priorities.
“This manifesto is not just a document—it is a covenant of hope,” he said. “From infrastructure to youth empowerment and social welfare, President Biya’s vision continues to place the people at the center of national development.”
Ndop: Confidence and Continuity
The campaign momentum carried over to Ndop, where Hon. Njingum Musa, President of the local CPDM campaign team, welcomed the divisional delegation.
Hon. Musa described the CPDM campaign as a “movement of faith in tested leadership,” and expressed confidence that Ndop would deliver another landslide victory. “Our people have seen and felt the impact of President Paul Biya’s governance,” he noted. “The peace, the roads, the schools, and the promise of continuous development—these are not empty slogans; they are realities we live every day.”
Prof. Ghogomu commended Ndop’s mobilization efforts, urging citizens to turn out massively on election day. “October 12 is not just about casting a vote—it is about choosing peace, unity, and progress,” he emphasized.
Balikumbat: The Final Push for a Landslide Victory
The tour culminated in Balikumbat, where Senator Dingha Ignatius, representing Hon. Bamni Emmanuel, led a passionate crowd in pledging total support for President Paul Biya.
Sen. Dingha lauded the campaign’s success across Ngoketunjia, noting that “the people have spoken with one voice.” He said Balikumbat was fully prepared to deliver a “100% victory” in gratitude for the President’s longstanding commitment to the division’s growth.
Prof. Ghogomu used the final rally to thank all campaign coordinators, militants, and sympathizers for their dedication throughout the campaign period. “We have walked together through every village and town, and what we’ve witnessed is faith—faith in Cameroon’s stability, faith in the CPDM, and faith in President Paul Biya,” he declared. “Ngoketunjia stands as one, ready to deliver a decisive victory.”
Ngoketunjia Says “Yes” to Greatness and Hope
As night fell over the hills of Ngoketunjia, the campaign team’s closing message was clear: unity, continuity, and confidence in the future.
With a unified front from Babessi to Ndop and Balikumbat, Ngoketunjia’s electorate signaled readiness to reaffirm their trust in President Biya—described by Prof. Ghogomu as “a leader whose experience and steady hand have guided Cameroon through challenges with wisdom and peace.”
“The voice of Ngoketunjia,” Prof. Ghogomu concluded, “is a voice of gratitude and determination. On October 12, let us translate that gratitude into votes for stability, progress, and shared prosperity under the leadership of President Paul Biya.”
