The Chargé de Mission for the YCPDM in Ngoketunjia, Dr. Bonuh Clement Che, has reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the people of Ngoketunjia Division to ensure a resounding victory for President Paul Biya in the upcoming October 12 presidential election.
Speaking to journalists in Bamenda shortly after the visit of the Secretary General of the CPDM Central Committee to the North West regional capital, Dr. Bonuh painted a vivid picture of unity, enthusiasm, and renewed political vigour among the people of Ngoketunjia.
“Ngoketunjia is more engaged and motivated than ever before,” Dr. Bonuh said. “The people are deeply appreciative of what the Head of State has done for our division from agricultural investments to infrastructure development and social empowerment projects. We are ready to give back through massive voter turnout.”
Visible Impact, Renewed Confidence
Dr. Bonuh, who also serves as one of the Chargés de Mission for the Presidential Campaign in the division, highlighted the numerous projects initiated under President Biya’s leadership that have transformed Ngoketunjia’s socioeconomic landscape.
“The President has invested heavily in the Upper Nun Valley Development Authority (UNVDA), which is the backbone of our agricultural productivity. He has also supported the construction of housing units in Ndop and pushed forward road rehabilitation projects that are opening up our rural communities,” he explained.
“These are not promises,” he stressed, “they are realities that the people can see, touch, and feel. That is why our population remains loyal to the CPDM and to the Head of State.”
Youth Mobilization and Grassroots Action
In a tone both energetic and confident, Dr. Bonuh underscored the critical role of young people in shaping the 2025 electoral outcome. Under his leadership, the YCPDM in Ngoketunjia has carried out a series of community-driven initiatives aimed at reinforcing civic participation and gratitude to the Head of State.
“We recently organized football tournaments, offered scholarships to meritorious GCE students, and distributed farm inputs to rural farmers,” he said. “These activities have energized our youths and reminded them that the CPDM is a party that delivers development and opportunity.”
He further revealed that door-to-door campaigns have intensified across all three subdivisions of Ngoketunjia, ensuring that every household understands the stakes of the upcoming election.
“We go directly to the people to explain what the President has done, what he continues to do, and why his leadership remains indispensable for peace and progress,” he added.
Resilience in the Face of Challenges
Despite the lingering effects of the crisis in parts of the North West region, Dr. Bonuh noted that Ngoketunjia’s commitment to the electoral process remains unshaken.
“Our people have shown extraordinary courage,” he said. “During the campaign launch, they defied ghost towns and security fears to come out in their numbers. That display of unity and patriotism shows that Ngoketunjia stands solidly with President Paul Biya.”
A Call for Continuity
As the CPDM Central Committee’s regional campaign machinery shifts into full gear, Dr. Bonuh expressed confidence that Ngoketunjia will once again stand tall as a bastion of loyalty to the ruling party.
“The Head of State has always kept his promises to our people. On October 12, we will reciprocate that trust by voting massively for him,” he affirmed. “Ngoketunjia is ready, united, and determined to contribute decisively to the victory of the CPDM and President Paul Biya.”
Dr. Bonuh concluded by calling on all registered voters in the division to collect their cards and turn out massively on election day, describing the polls as “a moment to renew faith in peace, progress, and the promise of a stronger Cameroon.”
