Presbyterian Education Authority Sets Form One interview schedule

The Education Secretary of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, Essaw Samgwa'a, has revealed that interviews for admission into Form One across all Presbyterian Education Authority (PEA) secondary schools will take place on May 30 and June 6, 2026.

According to an announcement issued by the office of the Education Secretary in Buea, South West Region, the exercise will begin at 8:30 a.m. in designated centers across the country, covering all major regions where Presbyterian schools operate.

He carefully explained that the interviews will be held at key regional centers, including PSS Mankon for the North West Region and PCSS Buea for the South West Region. Explaining that additional centers have been established in Yaoundé (Bastos), Bafoussam, Bertoua, Bonamoussadi, Bonaberi, and Garoua.

Essaw Samgwa'a indicated that candidates are expected to report to the center nearest to their place of residence, reiterating that all applicants will be assessed for placement into any of the 24 listed Presbyterian secondary schools and colleges nationwide, including Cameroon Protestant College (Bali), Presbyterian Secondary School (Mankon), Presbyterian High School (Kumba), and Presbyterian Girls Secondary School (Limbe), among others.

The Education Secretary, Essaw Samgwa'a, stated that the decentralized interview system is designed to streamline admissions while ensuring equal access for candidates across all regions. Applicants are required to present a photocopy of their birth certificate, a recent report card or academic booklet, writing materials, and a 2,000 FCFA interview and logistics fee.

He further explained that candidates are also expected to appear neatly dressed, with school uniforms where applicable. In addition to Form One admissions, the authority confirmed that entry into other classes across all PEA institutions will begin on May 30, 2026, and continue daily during working hours. Further indicating that the admissions exercise remains a key annual process for entry into its secondary school network, which spans multiple regions of Cameroon.
