Roland Kebuh Ndifon, North West Regional Coordinator of Nascent Solutions, has been honoured with the Social Worker, Community Relief Agent, and Human Resource Manager Award.
The Nation Builders Award was presented by the Cameroon Climate Journalism Network (CCJN) during its annual recognition ceremony celebrating individuals making significant contributions to society through service, leadership, and community development.
Speaking after receiving the award, Roland Kebuh Ndifon said the recognition was a strong motivation for both him and his team, describing it as evidence that their work is making a meaningful impact in communities.
Talking to Laarry Times, the Regional Coordinator stated that Nascent Solutions has been operating in Cameroon since 2004 and currently implements programs across six regions, focusing on climate-smart agriculture, food security, and community development.
He revealed that one of the organization's flagship initiatives is a school feeding program that provides nutritious meals to children in 260 schools nationwide. The program, he explained, is supported by efforts to train farmers, parent-teacher associations, and community leaders in sustainable agricultural practices aimed at improving food production despite climate challenges.
Roland Kebuh Ndifon said the award would encourage communities, cooperatives, and farmers to adopt climate-smart farming methods and increase local food production to support school feeding initiatives and strengthen food security.
CCJN promoter Tamukong Roland Angong, CCJN organizer and World Echoes Newspaper Publisher, said the award recognizes his commitment to humanitarian service, community relief, and human resource development across the North-West Region and beyond.
He explained that the Nation Builders Award was carefully designed to distinguish, acknowledge, and celebrate individuals making significant contributions to society through service, leadership, and community development.
