Two senior officials of the Tadkon Cooperative Credit Union Limited (TADKON) have been singled out and recognized at the Nation Builders Awards for their contribution to microfinance development and community empowerment.
This was during an award ceremony organized by the Cameroon Climate Journalism Network (CCJN) that took place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Regional Delegation of Secondary Education at Upstation, Bamenda.
According to the organizer, Roland Tamukong, Publisher of World Echoes Newspaper, the aim of the event was to encourage and honour individuals and institutions driving social change and impacting lives.

Speaking after the event, he explained that the recognition serves as motivation for improved performance, adding that public appreciation strengthens morale and helps institutions remain accountable and competitive.

On her part, she said the recognition reflects the institution’s commitment to grassroots development, particularly through agricultural financing programs supporting thousands of members across several regions.
Wrapping up, Roland Tamukong disclosed that the recognitions are intended to highlight leadership and service excellence in community and economic development across Cameroon.
