The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Denis Miki Foundation (DMF), Emilia “Emily” Epeti Miki, has represented Cameroon at the Third African Union Reflection Forum on Unconstitutional Changes of Government held in Accra, Ghana.
The two-day forum, which held from July 3 to 4, 2026, under the theme “Youth Inclusion for Africa Stability,” brought together government officials, policymakers, civil society leaders, youth representatives, and development partners from across the continent.
Emily Miki, who is also a member of the African Union’s Network of African Women in Conflict Prevention and Mediation (FemWise-Africa), participated in discussions focused on democratic governance, constitutionalism, conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and youth involvement in decision-making.

She called for greater inclusion of young Africans in leadership and policy processes, saying young people should be trusted as active partners in shaping the future of the continent.
“Building peaceful, democratic, and resilient societies requires governments and institutions to intentionally create opportunities for youth to shape policies that affect their future,” she said.
