Moritz Kube, the North West Regional Representative of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM), has called on residents of the region to rally behind the party's campaign ahead of Cameroon's 2027 municipal and parliamentary elections.
In a campaign message titled "2027: Turn the Page! The North West Deserves Better," Kube urged voters to embrace what he described as a new vision centred on accountable leadership, economic opportunity, and improved public services.
He said the CRM is targeting victory in all 34 municipal councils in the North West, arguing that strong representation at the local level would help promote transparency, community empowerment, and more effective development initiatives.
Kube said the party's priorities include improving education and healthcare, modernizing local councils, creating economic opportunities, and ensuring that every community has a stronger voice in governance.
He also appealed to professionals, entrepreneurs, teachers, students, farmers, traditional leaders, young people, and other citizens to contest for council and parliamentary seats under the CRM banner.
Describing the 2027 elections as an opportunity for change, Kube called on supporters to begin mobilizing across the region, saying the future of the North West depends on active citizen participation.
The campaign marks the CRM's latest effort to strengthen its grassroots presence in the North West as political parties intensify preparations for Cameroon's next electoral cycle.
