AziCCUL Launches New Branch in Up Station, Reechoes Position as Biggest Microfinance Institution in Cemac
The Management of Azire Cooperative Credit Union Limited, AziCCUL, has opened a new branch of category 1 microfinance at Upstation in Bamenda in the North West Region. The biggest credit union, with a membership of over 62,000 and sharesavings and deposits of 52 billion Fcfa, launched the new branch on Friday, November 29, 2024.
Speaking during the launching ceremony at the esplanade of the new site located at Alanhting 1 neighbourhood in Bamendakwe, Lembeh Pius Titaku, AziCCUL General Manager, explained that the new branch would sum up to a total of 14 branches nationwide.
According to the GM, the new branch aims to ease the banking experience for members, offering a wide range of products and services geared towards meeting diverse financial needs.
From savings accounts to specialized accounts for school fees and Christmas savings, the AziCCUL GM insisted that the management is committed to supporting its members financially. The institution, Lembeh Pius added also pays special attention to minors with dedicated accounts and provides group account options for collective savings.
