Dr Kingsley Che Nsoh Mandated to Revive Gynaeco-obsterics and Pediatrics Hospital Yaounde

Dr Kingsley Che Nsoh has assumed the position of Director General at the Yaounde Gynaeco-Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital (HGOPY) with a critical mandate to restore its status as a premier healthcare facility. 
   Selected by Minister of Public Health, Manaouda Malachie, Dr. Nsoh steps into this role following a period where the hospital's reputation has dwindled,
despite its previous standing among top-tier medical institutions.
   Minister Malachie, recognizing Dr. Nsoh's track record, expressed his confidence in the new DG's ability to revitalize the hospital. Emphasizing transparency, diligence, and a commitment to excellence in healthcare services, the Minister set forth the pillars for success in this new chapter.
   Acknowledging the outgoing DG, Dr. Mbu Robinson, Minister Malachie commended his service and noted the possibility of his return in the future. Dr Kingsley Nsoh, formerly the North West Delegate of Public Health, expressed gratitude to the government for entrusting him with this challenging role to enhance healthcare standards at HGOPY.
   Dr. Nsoh's professional journey is marked by a distinguished career spanning various medical institutions and administrative roles. With a Master's degree in Public Health and Hospital
Management from the University of Brussels, Belgium, Dr. Nsoh's leadership experience includes positions such as Chief Medical Officer at the Bamenda Health District and Regional Delegate of Health for the North West Region.
   His exceptional management skills, strategic foresight, and deep understanding of healthcare dynamics have garnered accolades, including the Knight of the Cameroonian Order of Merit and recognition as the best Regional Delegate during the Cameroon Health Awards.
   The installation ceremony witnessed the presence of notable figures from the North West Region, including Minister Felix
Mbayu and Asheri Kilo, as well as cultural leaders and
community representatives. Traditional performances added a vibrant touch to the event, reflecting the region's rich heritage and support for Dr. Nsoh's new role at HGOPY.
