During a recent gathering at his residence in Bafoussam, Governor Awa Fonka Augustine of the West Region met with a delegation of chiefs from Manyu Division in the South West Region. Led by HRM Orock John Mbi, President of the Manyu Chiefs Conference, the visit aimed to strengthen ties and discuss important issues.
Governor Awa commended the traditional rulers of Manyu Division for their efforts in fostering unity and progress within the nation.
He particularly praised the work of Awounfack Alienou Yves Bertrand, the Senior Divisional Officer of Manyu Division, for his dedication to promoting peace and stability through community engagement.
Expressing his appreciation for Awounfack's initiatives in Manyu Division, Governor Awa encouraged him to continue serving the people with integrity and compassion.
He warmly welcomed the delegation, originally destined for an event in Dschang, and assured the Manyu traditional rulers of his unwavering support for their initiatives.
