Bamenda Shaken by Multiple Corpse Discovery

          Corpse at Hospital Roundabout

Bamenda, Cameroon - April 6, 2024.
The city of Bamenda, particularly the Bamenda 2 sub-division, was gripped by shock and horror today as residents discovered multiple corpses littered across various locations. The bodies were found at Hospital Roundabout, Food Market, Brasserie Junction, and Mile 90.

According to eyewitnesses, the victims' hands were bound behind their backs, and some showed signs of brutal execution. One of the corpses was identified as a separatist fighter who was caught by security forces on Saturday at Che Street.

The fighter was allegedly caught after attempting to extort money from a shop. Security cameras in the shop helped authorities track and apprehend the individual. Eyewitnesses report that the fighter was subjected to severe torture before being taken to an unknown location.

It's believed that the captured fighter may have cooperated with security forces, leading them to other locations where his accomplices were arrested. However, the fact that the executions occurred at different locations has complicated the investigation.

The discovery of the corpses has raised concerns about the ongoing conflict in the region and the methods employed by security forces. The population remains on edge, awaiting further information and clarification on the circumstances surrounding these tragic events.

This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
