CPDM Militants Rally Behind Justice Mbah Acha Rose in Momo Division

A massive rally was held in Mbengwi on April 25, 2025, to celebrate the appointment of Justice Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam as a substantive member of the Central Committee of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) and President of the CPDM Central Committee Permanent Divisional Delegation for Momo Division.

The event drew a large crowd of CPDM militants, sympathizers, and traditional leaders, who came out to show their support for the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit. Speakers at the rally, including Mayor Ndangsa Kenedy Akam and Mayor Ubangoh Helly, praised Justice Mbah Acha Rose for her dedication to the party and the people of Momo Division.

"We thank God for you, as it is through your efforts that we, the Mayors, can gain the confidence that we have in our elites," Mayor Ndangsa Kenedy Akam said. "You have enabled us to realize numerous projects in our municipalities, such as the road pavement from the checkpoint to Africa Petroleum in Mbengwi and the construction of numerous bridges linking villages."

Mayor Ubangoh Helly, speaking on behalf of the five Mayors of Momo Division, assured Justice Mbah Acha Rose of their unwavering support. "You are a square peg in a square hole," he said. "We pray that the Almighty God keeps your star shining even brighter and grants you more opportunities to fetch more development for our Division."

Fon Teche Njei of Ngyen-Muwa, a member of the Central Committee and former CPDM Senator, also spoke at the rally, praising Justice Mbah Acha Rose's appointment as a testament to her hard work and dedication. "This appointment will motivate a lot of militant people who are not even militants of the party to come to the party and support the head of state in the presidential elections," he said.

Doreen Anwi Fonjong Epse Agwe, WCPDM Section President for Momo I Mbengwi, also spoke, thanking President Paul Biya for appointing Mbah Acha Rose and highlighting her contributions to the development of Momo Division.

"Mama, we say thank you so much," she said. "Your developmental projects are uncountable, especially for the women of this Division. We have female Doctors, female parliamentarians, female Magistrates, and female Delegates, just to name a few."

The rally also featured speeches from Hon. Anyere Charles Akah, CPDM Section President for Momo East Batibo, and Hon. Awutah Philip Atubah, MP for Momo West. Both speakers pledged their support for Justice Mbah Acha Rose and the CPDM party, promising a 100% victory in the upcoming presidential election.

Justice Mbah Acha Rose, in her address to the crowd, thanked the party militants and leaders for their support. "I want to tell the Momo people that I have never abandoned them and I will not start that today," she said. "Even during the crisis, I have been with them, regularly sent by President Paul Biya to come and greet them, to come and see how the situation is."

The rally ended with a call to action, urging all CPDM militants and sympathizers to rally behind Justice Mbah Acha Rose and the party. "We are determined more than ever before to be the fief of the CPDM in the Northwest Region," Mayor Ubangoh Helly declared.
