Eringo Cha Ekombo, Njomo Omam Esther, the Executive Director of Reach Out Cameroon, has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for Nation Builders in the Gold Category, recognizing her outstanding contributions to peacebuilding and development. The award ceremony, held in Bamenda, celebrated individuals and organizations making significant impacts in their fields.
According to Tim Finnian, Publisher of Lifetime Media Group and promoter of the Lifetime Achievement Award, the ceremony aims to spotlight individuals and organizations excelling in nation-building efforts. This year's edition marks the 20th anniversary of the event.
In her acceptance speech, the Global Peace Champion dedicated the award to her team, their families, and the communities they serve. She acknowledged the challenges faced by her organization and expressed gratitude to those who have supported their work.
The seasoned humanitarian, peacebuilder, and human rights defender also thanked those who have opposed or misunderstood their efforts, saying that it has pushed them to grow stronger and more committed to their purpose.
The Eringo Cha Ekombo of the Mundemba people reiterated that the award is a testament to her dedication to promoting peace and development, particularly in challenging environments.
