Omam Esther Appointed Cameroon Country Chair for Mentoring & Motivation

A new chapter of leadership and inspiration has opened for Cameroon’s development community as renowned activist and humanitarian, Omam Njomo Esther Eringo Cha Ekombo, Executive Director of Reach Out Cameroon, has been nominated as the Cameroon Country Chair for Mentoring & Motivation under the auspices of the ALL Ladies League (ALLL).

In a statement announcing her appointment, Omam Esther described the recognition as both humbling and inspiring. 

“This nomination strengthens my commitment to inspire, mentor, and build the next generation of leaders, especially women and young people,” she said.

As Executive Director of Reach Out Cameroon and a celebrated Global Peace Champion, Omam Esther has spent years championing community development, peacebuilding, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups. 

Her new role under ALLL, a worldwide network of women leaders driving change will further enable her to scale up mentorship initiatives, especially targeting young leaders who often lack guidance and opportunities.

“Together, we rise higher when we lift each other,” she affirmed, promising to leverage this platform to nurture resilience, leadership skills, and confidence among Cameroon’s next generation of changemakers.

Her appointment has been widely welcomed by advocates of gender equality and youth empowerment, who see it as a boost for grassroots initiatives and mentorship networks across the country.
