As the campaign period for the 2025 presidential election draws to a close by dusk, Francis Fai Yengo, President of the Permanent Delegation of the CPDM Central Committee to Bui Division, has delivered a powerful closing message titled “Greatness and Hope.”

Speaking with emotion and conviction, the former regional governor addressed the people of Bui, both as a statesman and a son of the land, urging them to vote for President Paul Biya on October 12.

In his address, Fai Yengo acknowledged the trials that the division has endured over the past years from conflict and displacement to economic hardship but emphasized that the spirit of Bui remains unbroken.

“We have been bruised by conflict, families have been scattered, and dreams delayed. But the spirit of Bui has never been broken. Today, I come with a message of renewal, of healing, of greatness, and above all, of hope,” he declared.

He reminded the population that President Biya’s leadership has consistently stood for stability and progress, and that his re-election represents an opportunity to rebuild and reinvest in the region’s future.

“This campaign is not about nostalgia but about what we can still become together. The broken bridges will be rebuilt, the classrooms will reopen, the markets will be busy again,” Fai Yengo assured.

Turning to the youth, he described them as the “energy and heartbeat” of Bui’s future. To the women, he paid special tribute, calling them “the pillars of peace and guardians of our future.” He called on every segment of society, traditional rulers, teachers, farmers, and traders to see their participation in the election as a show of faith in the nation’s renewal.

Fai Yengo also warned against those he described as “thieves of the future,” who exploit division and resentment for political gain.

“Those who claim to fight for us by dividing us are not liberators. They are thieves of our future,” he said firmly. “We, the CPDM family, are not here to impose but to invite. Let us walk together again, vote for peace, vote for renewal, vote for hope, vote for Paul Biya.”

He emphasized that under President Biya’s vision, Cameroon’s path forward rests on peace, modern infrastructure, youth empowerment, and inclusive development.

“President Paul Biya offers more than a manifesto; he offers a future anchored in stability and growth. Greatness is not built in the absence of struggle, and hope is not denial of pain, it is the decision to rise despite it,” he added.

Concluding his message on an uplifting note, Fai Yengo urged the people of Bui to turn out massively and make their voices count on election day.

“May this vote mark not just the closing of a campaign, but the opening of a new chapter in Bui’s destiny.”
