Moscow forum signals new push for BRICS and SCO business cooperation

A new international business platform aimed at strengthening cooperation across BRICS and SCO countries has been launched following a forum held in Moscow this week. The two-day event, titled “International Business in the Next 10 Years: Who, How, Where," took place on April 25-26, 2026, under the initiative of the AGORA International Business Club. Organizers said the gathering marked the official launch of the AGORA Global Business Club and its broader international development agenda.

More than 100 entrepreneurs, investors, and government relations representatives attended the forum, which focused on expanding cross-border partnerships and identifying practical strategies for business growth in emerging markets.

The opening session featured remarks from Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs and chairman of AGORA’s Board of Trustees, alongside Roman Chekushov, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.

According to organizers, the program was designed to move “from strategy to action," combining panel discussions with workshops, masterclasses, and interactive mastermind sessions focused on real business challenges.

One of the featured cases was presented by Aida Azamatkyzy, founder of the ORDOGEN kindergarten network and the educational technology platform ORDO 360. The entrepreneur, previously shortlisted for Forbes’ “30 Under 30," discussed the expansion of her education businesses across four countries.

Another case study came from Natalia Sushko, co-founder of the Siberian coffee franchise Gussi, which now operates more than 70 franchised locations in Russia and abroad.

AGORA co-founders Tatiana Seliverstova and Ivan Abramov said the mastermind sessions proved among the most popular parts of the program because they focused on practical solutions rather than theoretical discussions. “The discussions were conducted on equal footing, with deep immersion into business details,” they said in a joint statement. “Participants received concrete steps that could be implemented immediately.”

The forum also hosted more than 30 B2B meetings and resulted in several partnership agreements involving companies from Russia, India, and South Africa working in investment, logistics, technology, and international communications.

A pitching session formed another key part of the program, with six entrepreneurs from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and South Africa presenting projects to investors and industry experts. The proposals included AI-based services, logistics and retail technologies, digital education platforms, and document-management systems.

Organizers said the forum would serve as the starting point for AGORA’s long-term international strategy, which includes future business missions, expanded partnerships, and new initiatives targeting BRICS and SCO markets.

The event was organized by the AGORA International Business Club, the ANO “Leaders of International Cooperation," and the international trade and investment company Consult Invest ITIC.
