Cameroonian humanitarian leader Nchofon Mingoh has received the Administrative Magnanimity Award at the International Icon Awards 2025 in recognition of his leadership and service to internally displaced people.
The award, presented by The Vanguard Media Group promoter, Chifu Edward in a colourful event in Bafoussam on Saturday, June 27, 2026, honours his management of a humanitarian centre and his commitment to supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Organizers said only 15 recipients were selected from thousands of nominees following a rigorous screening process, describing the award as recognition of exceptional contributions to humanitarian service and community development.
Receiving the honour, the humanitarian who doubles as Bamenda I, Assistant Divisional Officer said the award was a motivation to deepen his commitment to serving others rather than a culmination of his work.
He pledged to continue improving the institution under his leadership while ensuring that people seeking its services are treated with dignity, professionalism and compassion.
