The Social Democratic Front (SDF) is set to outline its legislative agenda and position on key national issues as the party's National Chairman, Hon. Joshua Osih, prepares to address a press conference in Yaoundé on Thursday, July 22, 2026.
The briefing comes weeks after the conclusion of Parliament's June Ordinary Session, during which SDF lawmakers introduced five Private Members' Bills aimed at advancing democratic governance, strengthening social justice, and promoting national development.
According to the party, Hon. Osih will use the media engagement to explain the objectives of the proposed legislation and present the SDF's perspective on a range of current political and national issues.
The press conference is expected to provide further insight into the opposition party's policy priorities as Cameroon continues to debate governance reforms and legislative initiatives.
The event will take place at the SDF Central Regional Secretariat in Olezoa, Yaoundé, with journalists from various media organizations invited to cover the proceedings.
The SDF says the engagement forms part of its efforts to communicate its legislative proposals and keep the public informed about its position on matters affecting the country.
The party tabled the five bills during the June parliamentary session, describing them as proposals intended to strengthen democratic institutions, improve governance, and respond to key social and development challenges facing Cameroon.
