Dreamland Connect Chief Executive Officer and Regional Delegate of Chambers of Commerce for the North West, Tantoh Edison Fru Ndi, has been recognized by the Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers Association (CENPA) for his contributions to development efforts in the North-West Region.
Tantoh Edison Fru Ndi received the 2026 CENPA Award during the association’s awards night in Bonanjo, Douala, on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was represented at the ceremony by the Manager, Mao Pascal.
In presenting the award, CENPA described Fru Ndi as a “North-West Development Pillar," pointing to his involvement in projects considered significant to the region’s economic and infrastructure development.
The association particularly cited the construction of the Mutan Market in Bamenda, a project executed by Dreamland Connect for the North-West Regional Assembly.
The market features 57 trading sheds, sanitation facilities, a borehole, an elevated water tank, and a 30 KVA solar power installation, in addition to other supporting facilities.
The project is expected to improve the organization of commercial activities in the area while providing employment opportunities and contributing to the development of the Bamenda Industrial Zone.
CENPA President Kristian Ngah Christian said the awards were established to acknowledge people and institutions whose work is contributing to society.
“We are here to recognize some Cameroonians and institutions that have been impacting society,” he said.
The award comes as Dreamland Connect continues to participate in development and recovery initiatives across the North-West.
The company recently completed the rehabilitation of Government Bilingual High School Bamenda Campus B under the Presidential Plan for Reconstruction and Development. The work was completed in approximately half of the five-month period initially earmarked for the project.
Dreamland Connect has also intervened at Bamenda Regional Hospital following a fire that destroyed a number of administrative facilities. The company provided and equipped a temporary office for the hospital’s General Supervisor to support the continuation of administrative activities.
The philanthropist and business magnate has been involved in initiatives focused on infrastructure and economic activity in the region.
His CENPA award comes as the North-West continues to face the challenges of restoring infrastructure, supporting businesses, and rebuilding economic activity after years of crisis.
